The following outlines our privacy and email policy:

Contest Rules
Here is the general thought -- We are trying to help our subscribers by pointing out typos in their published works. We think your help deserves a reward. If you are working toward our end, then great! We'll gladly give you a prize. If you are trying to game the system, well ... we wish you would not.

- ACCEPTANCE. By submitting an entry into the EditMob contest, through our website, email, Facebook, LinkedIn, or other social media site, you hereby accept and agree to these official rules (the "Official Rules") of this contest, and the decisions of the Administrator in connection with this contest, whose decisions are final.
- US and English Websites ONLY.
- ELIGIBILITY. Contests are open to anyone, unless prohibited by local law.
- CONTEST PERIOD. EditMob will post the promotion period on www.EditMob.com, but reserves the right to stop the contest at any time.
- HOW TO ENTER. You may enter as many times as you wish, subject to the limitations below, during the contest period using the following mechanisms: typo submission form on EditMob.com, Facebook by sharing a link directly with EditMob, email to typo@EditMob.com, and others as added here. A valid entry MUST have the typo in question, an accurate correction, and the webpage (URL) on which it was found.
- LIMITATIONS. You will be credited for an entry only once for a given typo and EditMob will count no more than 5 entries per typo from anyone for a given typo. EditMob, in its sole discretion, may disqualify any entry and refuse to award the Prize, if entrant engages in any conduct deemed to be improper, unfair or otherwise adverse to the operation of the contest or detrimental to other entrants of the contest. No mechanical means of submission is allowed. If a significant number, as few as one, of your entries are viewed to be invalid, in the sole opinion of EditMob, all of your entries will be invalidated and your prize will be re-awarded.
- TYPES OF SITE. Entries referencing typos in comments of blogs will not receive credit for entry. Content must be from the past 3 years. Content may not be from any form of a wiki site. Tweets are not eligible.
- BONUS ENTRIES. Any entry received that provides a typo for a listed subscriber will receive 1 bonus entry. This bonus and other bonuses may be changed/cancelled/introduced at any time with no notice. Other publications may also be eligible for bonus entries.
- ODDS/SELECTION. Winners will be selected by random drawing from all the valid entries received during the contest period. The odds of winning are dependent on the number of entries and bonus entries received. All decisions are final.
- PRIZES. The number and amount of prizes will vary from contest to contest. EditMob will strive, but is not obligated to, provide 10% of revenues toward prizes. EditMob reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value, if the awarded prize is unavailable for any reason.
- MULTIPLE PRIZES. From time to time, EditMob may offer overlapping prizes. EditMob may choose to only allow a winner to claim the larger prize. Other rules may apply, which will be listed on the additional contest entry page.
- CLAIMING THE PRIZE. Winners will be notified via the email they have provided and have 10 days to provide additional information necessary to receive prize, which at a minimum will be a postal address and a mailing release (plus any information required by government regulators). Winner agrees to comply with any auditing request required by regulators. Failure to comply will result in forfeiture of prize. A portion of unclaimed prizes may be rolled over to subsequent contests. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. All federal, state, and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. List of winners available at www.EditMob.com/winners.html.
- PUBLICITY RELEASE. Participation constitutes permission for EditMob, without further obligation to the contest winner, to use winner’s name, voice, photos, address, and likeness for promotional purposes.
- LOST OR CORRUPTED ENTRIES. EditMob assumes no liability and is not responsible for, and you hereby forever waive any rights to any claim in connection with any entry that is lost, mishandled, deleted by automatic or human means.
- RELEASE. Each entrant in this contest, including, without limitation, the winner, hereby releases and agrees to hold harmless the EditMob and their parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and their respective directors, officers, employees, representatives and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind to person, including death, and property, arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the Prize, participation in this contest and participation in any activity related to this contest.
- IDENTITY. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a winner based on an email address, the winning entry will be declared made by the Authorized Account Holder of the email address submitted at time of entry. For purposes of these Official Rules, "Authorized Account Holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.
- GOVERNING LAW. This promotion is governed by US law and is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited by law. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrant and Administrator in connection with this contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Oregon, U.S.A., without giving effect to the conflict of laws rules thereof, and any matters or proceedings for entering any judgment on an arbitration award, shall take place in Portland, Oregon.
